About Me

My Name is Lacey I am  originally from Watertown, SD, I  moved to Sioux Falls in 2012 to pursue my Degree and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from South Dakota State University. I like all things creative and I am passionate about good design (fonts are my jam) as well as being an avid photographer. In my spare time I enjoy crafting, and spending time with my husband and our one-year-old daughter. 

Artist Statement

As a designer my goal is to create something beautiful and effective. I have always loved art from a young age, but what drew me to graphic design was the ability to create something that helped communicate in a way other than words. I find inspiration all around me, in nature, in art, and in other forms of design. 
While I approach each project with a fresh idea, the process I follow tends to remain the  same. Everything starts out with research, then sketches and rough concept designs. From here the subject determines the finished product. Each project consists of multiple works, changing and forming as new needs or ideas come to light.  Finishing with a well thought out design ready to be put to use.
